I grew up in a small town in Florida, about 30
minutes from the beach, and moved up to Maryland following my childhood dream of being an artist.
I‘m known for my blue hair-that I’ve had for almost 20 years! And rollerskating. I’m obsessed with vintage campers, flamingos and CHRISTMAS!!
I’m adventurous and ambitious, genuine and loyal. I create lifelong images daily by taking client's ideas and turning them into art that they can wear forever and truly represent themselves.
I’ve been fortunate enough to be able to help thousands of clients create their perfect permanent artwork over the years.
I have a passion for connecting with and understanding people. I enjoy listening to my client's stories and finding out what is incredible and amazing about them.
In my spare time, I like to create In other ways like painting pet portraits, making t-shirts and stickers, and sewing.

Hello! My name is Mossiael Burgos I’m originally from a town in Puerto Rico named Vega Baja. I’ve been an artist as early as I could hold a pencil. Starting out by drawing a cringy amount of fan art, eventually graduating to free lancing and making comics. My family had relocated to central Florida when I was young. Which led me to eventually start my first apprenticeship at Subculturez as a piercer under Tom, Jill’s mentor. Though once the tattooers found my art Instagram I was swiftly stuffed in a burlap sack and kidnapped. I eventually I found my self guest spotting at Blue Bird and fell in love with the entire staff. Though what really sealed the deal was when Missi looked at me and said, “ I put ska on for you.” I love learning all my clients back stories and what brought them to where they are today. Taking their concepts and making them my own to give them a piece of art they can keep forever. In my free time I like to collect squishmallows and dead things. While also selling my soul to rouge lite games, rewatching madoka Magica on repeat, and reading manga.

Hi! My name is Jill Stitcher and I'm the resident Piercer here at Blue Bird Tattoo Studio! I grew up in Hampstead, MD. I started working at Blue Bird as a Shop Assistant, and slowly after a year+ of hard work, I was given the amazing opportunity to take a Piercing Apprenticeship I went to Orange City, Florida to apprentice at the very same shop our boss lady Missi learned to tattoo! I studied under my mentor Tom who has been piercing for 11 years! I'm so excited to continue my piercing journey here at a shop I love, with the added bonus of working with my friends! Outside of work, you can find me spending time with my loud-mouthed Cat, making my fourth or fifth cup of coffee, working on taxidermy, making jewelry, customizing skate decks, hiking, camping, painting, or going to local shows and supporting my favorite bands! I'm happy to be in an industry where I get to help others gain more self-confidence and self-love by piercing them in the safest, and most efficient way with the best quality jewelry and supplies! After all "the noblest art is the art of making others happy"- T.T. Barnum

Hey guys! My name is Vicky. I am from Westminster, MD but moved to Hanover in 2019. While at Blue Bird, you can usually find me in the Art Collective (aka my child) behind a computer, but in my free time I am also a realism portrait artist and an avid hiker & rock climber. I have an Australian Shepherd named Quest who often joins me on my hikes! Being outdoors in general is where I’m able to center myself and find balance. I have been in management roles since I was 18. I love creating an environment where I can lead by example and inspire my team/coworkers. In corporate roles, I found that this need to inspire and encourage creativity was often diminished, so when Missi offered me a role in her shop, it was a no-brainer. Here, I have the freedom to be creative as a leader and not be confined. I am so passionate about art as well, so I honestly couldn’t picture myself anywhere else. I have such a love for helping others and developing a personal connection with clients.

Hi Y'all! My name is Becca, and I'm a shop assistant here at Blue Bird Tattoo Studio! I grew up in Virginia, and moved to Hanover in 2019. At Blue Bird, you'll likely find me scurrying around keeping our shop spotless, and the vibe right. I also run our shop Instagram, Facebook, and Tik Tok pages, and love capturing the behind the scenes view of how hard all of the amazing people here truly work to create such beautiful tattoos, do some badass piercings, and curate a gorgeous Art Collective. When I'm not a Blue Bird, you might catch me on the World Wide Web talking about my second love- Witchcraft! I've been a practicing Witch for almost 12 years, and while I won't turn you into a toad, I do teach online courses for people who are interested in exploring an Earth-Based Spiritual Path! I love chatting with people about my spirituality, so feel free to ask me questions! In my spare time, you can find me hanging out with my cat, going to farmers markets, hiking, drinking an ungodly amount of coffee, altering thrifted clothes to give them new life, and trying desperately to keep my indoor herb garden alive.
Hi! My name is Colleen, but my favorite people call me Tink. I am one of the Shop Assistants and the newest addition to the BlueBird crew. I am so grateful for the opportunity to work in this creative atmosphere among such talented artists. While in shop, I strive to keep BlueBird an inviting, clean, and comfortable atmosphere for our artists and clients.
Working at BlueBird, I am constantly surrounded by unique, inspiring people and talented artists. This feels like a perfect fit as my degree is in Psychology and I have utilized art as a source of self expression, joy, and comfort my entire life. In addition to my time at BlueBird, I work as a freelance artist under the name CMS Tinkerings. You can find some of my work for sale in the Art Collective.
When I am not in the shop or creating, I can be found exploring new hiking spots around the DMV, experimenting with various flow arts, adventuring with friends or spoiling my dog, Russell.
